At Gyllene Hornet you will find a breakfast buffet that has most of what you could wish for a good start to the day.
Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
If you want an earlier breakfast, we will organize it in a breakfast bag, pre-book before arrival.

Restaurant Gyllene Hornet
After an active day exploring Dalarna, it’s nice to settle in at the hotel restaurant and enjoy a delicious dinner. During the summer, we serve generous buffets inspired by different parts of the world, with something for guests of all ages.
Menu
We serve set menus Monday through Thursday and Sunday. On weekends, we offer our popular buffets.

Mediterranean buffet
A selection of Mediterranean inspired dishes including tzatziki and tapenade, serrano ham, different types of salami, marinated olives, Greek salad, gnocchi, lasagne, mushroom risotto, roast lamb, falafel, grissini and salsiccia. The dessert table includes almond cake, tiramisu and much more.
American buffet
Sweet, salty and hot flavours. Cajun seared salmon, whole roast beef, ribs and pulled pork, buffalo wings, potato gratin, Caesar salad, guacamole, coleslaw and pico de gallo, pastrami and corn cream, béarnaise sauce. Blueberry pie, cheesecake, cheeses and much more.
Summer Buffets
From Midsummer onward, our buffets feature a variety of American, Asian, and Nordic themes.
Asian Buffet
A selection of dishes inspired by Asian cuisine, including noodle salad, papaya salad, sushi rolls, beef tataki, sesame cabbage, kimchi, and sriracha mayonnaise. Hot dishes such as egg noodles, tandoori chicken, yakiniku, teriyaki salmon, and gyoza are served alongside edamame. The dessert table includes coconut panna cotta, yuzu cheesecake, and much more.
Nordic Buffet
A selection of dishes inspired by Nordic cuisine, including potato salad, grilled cheese salad, herring salad, gravlax tartare, and Västerbotten pie. The spread also features charcuterie from Siljans Chark, wild garlic aioli, pan-fried potatoes, game mince, and elk tenderloin. The dessert table includes almond cake, rhubarb pie, and much more.
American Buffet
Sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. Cajun-smoked salmon, roast beef, ribs and pulled pork, buffalo wings, potato gratin, Caesar salad, guacamole, coleslaw and pico de gallo, pastrami and corn chowder, béarnaise sauce. Blueberry pie, cheesecake, cheeses, and much more.
Dalhalla package
On select dates when we offer the Dalhalla package, a set two-course menu tailored to the concert’s start time is served instead of a buffet.
